When it comes to soap, the Dove Beauty Bar is one of our favorite. But when arriving to Norway, it didn’t really seem common for people to use this, as most of the choice in the shops were liquid soaps.
People even said it was disgusting to use these… Well sorry but NO it’s not!

Although Norway is an amazing country worth the trip for its landscapes, the fjords, the beaches, it isn’t really the place where you’d want to eat out because of its exorbitant prices. Even having a drink can turn out to be expensive…
But it was quite tempting trying out a new restaurant in Stavanger, who’s meat turned out to be very good (but EXPENSIVE)!

As you have noticed, we’re not in Cape Town, but on holidays.
Unfortunately, Nathalie is stuck in the fjords with salmon and aquavit, while Jean-Marc is drinking rose and enjoying good food on the French Riviera where he spent most of his childhood holidays 😉
But we’re still on the hunt, and decided to share with you the best spots we could find.
You don’t always need to go to the most fashionable places in order to eat well. In fact, the best places are often around the corner or on the top of a hill, like this restaurant, nested in Le Rouret, a little village close to Grasse.
This simple, charming and typical provencal building, that used to be the village’s bar, was overtaken in 2000 by chef Daniel Ettlinger (from Guy Savoy) and awarded 1 star from Guide Michelin.
